“And David danced before the Lord with all his might.”
2 Samuel 6:14 KJV
David understood what that moment meant. The ark had not always been within reach. Its absence had defined an earlier season, and its return marked the restoration of something central to Israel’s life with God. His response was not restrained because he was fully aware of the significance of what had just taken place.
You will encounter points in your own life where something long pursued finally stands in front of you as fact. A door opens that once remained closed. Capacity appears where weakness used to dominate. Responsibility increases because your competence has matured. These developments are not incidental. They represent movement that deserves to be recognized.
Ignoring such moments distorts your sense of reality. You begin to relate to your present as though it still carries the limitations of your past. This weakens your awareness of what has already been established and interferes with your ability to move forward with proper conviction.
As Pastor Chris Oyakhilome teaches, recognizing God’s work in your life keeps your thinking accurate, because it keeps you conscious of His continued involvement in your progress.
This awareness preserves stability. You continue working, but you do so with the understanding that your growth is not hypothetical. It exists. What once required faith to see has now entered your experience.
Recognizing this allows you to move forward with a clear understanding of where you stand and what has already been secured.
